Pencarrow House and gardens

Coming events at Pencarrow

24th March - 7.00pm in the Drawing Room at Pencarrow.

Cornish folk music specialist Mike O'Connor is the musical advisor to the Poldark series and composed 'I d'pluck a Fair Rose' and 'Medhel an Gwyns' sung by Eleanor Tomlinson in the first series. Barbara Griggs is a multi talented musician, who plays the harp as well as a number of other instruments and both have taken part in Poldarks filming.

Mike and Barbara present an evening of music from the Poldark era, interspersed with readings from Cornwall and beyond from that period, giving a fascinating background to the TV series.  Pencarrow provides the perfect setting for this glimpse of the past, not to mention inside information about Poldark stars and the filming!!

Tickets are £6.00 so don't miss out! Call Rosemary on 01208 78393 or e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
