Pencarrow House and Gardens in Cornwall, has been the friendly family home of the Molesworth-St Aubyns for almost 500 years. This makes us unique, as we are not part of the National Trust.
Tucked away on the edge of Bodmin Moor, this fascinating Cornish Georgian gem offers plenty to do for all, including families. We have a Grade 11 listed garden, Iron Age fort, children’s play area, café and gift shop. And of course, beautiful gardens that have highlights throughout the seasons.
Pet friendly – We are dog friendly, pets are welcome, and with 50 acres to explore there really is something for everyone.
With guided tours, you really get to know the secrets of this ancient family home. Hidden passageways, portraits with eyes that follow you, and statues sporting top hats! Pencarrow is not your usual country home…
Family days out in Cornwall – The children do not miss out in our unique stately home, we are very child friendly.
Light lunches, homemade cakes with gluten-free options and of course the quintessential cream tea. We are passionate about Cornish produce and source locally in our shop and café. Alongside the café, you’ll find the children’s play area with a rather enchanting Wendy house complete with a slate roof.
